Budget Christmas Tree

foresthippy:

With all our junk lying around the living room, we don’t have an awful lot of disposable space. My wife found this rather sad, stunted conifer, forlorn in a corner of the garden centre for the bargain price of £5. Thus began the quest for a cheap, but crafty set of decorations.

Orange slice decoration Pine cone decoration Twig bundle decoration Christmas tree

Dried citrus fruit slices £0
Gold pine cones, £2 for gold paint, cones collected on walks £0
Silver twig bundles, £2 for silver paint, £1 for twig bundles
Fairy lights £3.75
Tree £5
= £13.75.

Foresthippy has decorated his page as ingeniously as he decorated his Christmas tree.
What a lovely theme! 8-)
